GRAINS: 03/31/10 Grain Stocks and Perspective Plantings Reports released this morning. Early preliminary opening call is 7-15 cents lower for Beans; Steady for Wheat and 3-5 cents lower for Corn. Yesterday we saw higher closes for corn, soybeans, soymeal, oats, rough rice Minneapolis, Kansas City and Chicago wheat ahead of the all important prospective plantings report. All of the wheat continue to look lower with Minneapolis making a new CONTRACT LOW and closing higher in reversal type action while Chicago made a NEW CONTRACT LOW before rallying to settle above Monday's high which means a KEY REVERSAL. Of course, a good part of this was due unwinding of spreads ahead of the report. Corn had its lowest low and close since October 15th still trending lower overall. Oats settled higher still in a down-trend overall but also has a DOUBLE BOTTOM at contract lows. Rice had a huge range settling higher but in the bottom half of the day's trading range while continuing in a downtrend overall. Beans and meal closed higher while oil settled lower the latter just missing a sell signal. Beans, on the other hand, just missed a buy signal but is now neutral while meal has given me a BUY SIGNAL just to confuse the issue! BUY SIGNAL SOYMEAL. SELL SIGNALS FOR MINNEAPOLIS , KANSAS CITY AND CHICAGO WHEAT ALONG , CORN, OATS AND ROUGH RICE. CALL FOR DETAILS!
