Stock index futures turned higher on Tuesday as hopes of a solution to Greece's debt crisis spurred investor appetite for risky assets.

S&P 500 futures rose 3.6 points and were above fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures gained 36 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 6.5 points.

Oil prices also rose with Brent crude gaining $2.05 to trade at $108.4 a barrel and U.S. light crude up $1.29 at $91.90 a barrel.
