Republicans don’t care too much for Game of Thrones but Democrats love the show, a new survey says.

According to the study by E-Score, the American fantasy drama is Democrats' favorite show but doesn’t feature anywhere on Republicans top 10 favorite TV shows.

E-Score, a part of E-Poll Market Research, analyzed over 750 prime time broadcast, cable and streaming programs among Americans who were of voting age and whose political affiliation is either Republican or Democrat. The results were ranked for shows described as “One of My Favorites” by each group.

The monthly tracking survey found that Democrats prefer shows which were described as sexy, edgy, emotionally involving, ethnically diverse or have strong characters. But, Republicans liked programs which were more family-friendly, funny, plot driven or have storylines that involving the “good vs. evil” theory.

The survey ranked the top ten shows based on the results from each group and found that three of the Democrats’ top ten favorite shows “The Haves and the Have Nots, “How to Get Away with Murder” and “Empire” all have a racially diverse cast and powerful lead roles for women. The study says that this indicates that the Democratic viewer is also typically more diverse, with higher concentration of black and female supporters.

Republicans, however, preferred superhero shows like “The Flash,” “Arrow” or “Scorpion.” They also seemed to have a fondness for procedural programs like “NCIS” and “Blue Bloods ” which play on the “good vs. evil” conundrum.

But, the common ground exists. Both Republicans and Democrats love “The Walking Dead” and “The Big Bang Theory”, the study says.
