Game of Thrones season 4 spoiles
Will Jaime and Cersei break up in Season 4 of "Game of Thrones"? Game of Thrones

Ah, what’s better than a nasty breakup in the Westeros to kick off the drama of “Game of Thrones” Season 4? Nothing —especially when it’s between our two favorite incestuous Lannisters. That’s right, “GoT” fans. Jaime and Cersei will be enduring one of their biggest sibling rivalries of the series yet when the one-handed son of Tywin returns to King’s Landing.

Remember the scene from Season 3 when Jaime reunited with his sister for the first time since being taken captive? The look of sheer horror on Cersei’s face broke our hearts for Jaime as we watched his sister look upon his amputated hands with disgust.

Now, in Season 4 fans will get an in-depth look at the relationship between Jaime and Cersei — what’s left of it.

“Something’s changed,” Jaime says in the trailer for the season premiere. Since his prisoner days, the blond fighter has gotten himself cleaned up and back to his dapper self. But we doubt that's the "change" he's referring to.

“Everything’s changed,” Cersei replies, clearly annoyed. “You come back after all this time with no apologies and one hand and expect everything to be the same.”

Typical Cersei! Always thinking about herself. Meanwhile, she’s yet to find out what exactly her brother/lover went through during Season 3.

“What do you want me to apologize for?” Jaime asked intently.

“For leaving me,” she replied.

“You think I wanted to be taken prisoner?” he questioned.

“Don’t know what you wanted. You weren’t here. You left me — alone,” Cersei said.

“Every day I was a prisoner I plotted my escape. Everyday. I murdered people so I could be here with you,” Jaime explained.

Jaime is no stranger to killing people for his lover. Let’s think back to Season 1, when he pushed 10-year-old Bran Stark out a window, crippling him. “The things I do for love,” Cersei’s brother said, attempting to kill the boy after Bran had witnessed Cersei and Jaime’s affair.

“You took too long,” Cersei told her brother.

“What are you saying?” he asked.

“I’m saying you took too long.”

Does that mean Cersei is putting a kibosh on her relationship with Jaime? It certainly looks that way. And we’re sure his lack of limbs isn’t helping his chances of regaining her affection.
