Fans have to wait just two more weeks for the “Game of Thrones” Season 4 premiere. While the wait may be agonizing, it won’t be as bad as the fate of some characters that is hinted at in two new trailers released by HBO.

Warning: Full “Game of Thrones” spoilers ahead.

The new “GoT” trailers, titled “All Men” and “Awaken, have an ominous phrase that will be familiar to fans of the “Song of Ice and Fire” series. The trailers use the translation of “Valar Morghulis” (All men must die) to highlight the very real threat of death that each character faces. Series creator George R.R. Martin has had no problem killing off characters, including the shocking death of Ned Stark in Season 1 and the “Red Wedding” in Season 3, and Season 4 is no exception.

“All Men” features some very familiar scenes for fans that have been keeping up with every new “GoT” trailer released by HBO. Tyrion Lannister has his day in court following the death of Joffrey Lannister during the “Purple Wedding,” the fight between Oberyn Martell and Ser Gregor Clegane, the beginning of the battle at Meeren and some scenes from the Wall. The trailer ends with another look at a White Walker riding a horse that may or may not be Coldhands.

The “Awaken” trailer actually offers a few new things for fans. Mance Rayder is seen briefly but as the comments on the YouTube page point out, Joffrey’s fate becomes pretty obvious in the new trailer. Bran Stark and Hodor get a little more screen time and it looks like they are going to expand his story line a bit and include a few scenes from “A Dance with Dragons.”

The “Game of Thrones” season 4 premiere, “Two Swords,” airs on April 6 at 9 p.m. EDT. You can read an initial review of the premiere episode, which screened at the “Game of Thrones Epic Fan Experience” in Brooklyn, here.
