“Game of Thrones” costume designer Michele Clapton has shared photos of the costumes for three characters introduced in Season 5 of the HBO series. The characters are called the Sand Snakes. Another report reveals the wedding dress worn by Margaery Tyrell. [Spoiler alert!]

The Sand Snakes -- Obara, Tyene and Nymeria -- are the daughters of Oberyn Martell, each born out of wedlock. Clapton shared a few photos of the costumes on MakingGameOfThrones. Readers will notice that each costume is distinct, reflecting the personalities of each character, but there are common elements as well.

"I wanted a tough look for the Sand Snakes and tried to bring out elements of their individuality while also making them look like a team," Clapton said. One common element in all three costumes is the boots they wear in “Game of Thrones” Season 5. The extended sole of their boots is supposed to represent a snake tongue.

Clapton’s favorite accessory of the Sand Snakes is the snake wrap bracelet. The costume designer shared this image of the bracelet, showing the details of the design. It is unclear which character gets to wear the bracelet.

“Game of Thrones” Season 5 featured another wedding. Margaery Tyrell got to wed again, this to Tommen Baratheon. Clapton shared images of the wedding dresses Margaery wore in the two weddings on MakingGameofThrones. Each wedding dress supposedly carries its own message, the designer said. While the dress in Joffrey’s wedding was to “irk Cersei,” the Tommen dress was supposed to announce that Margaery “has arrived.”

"In this wedding, Margaery assumes a more regal role. She doesn't want to scare Tommen -- who is gentle -- or appear too eager so soon after Joffrey's death. Being too sexy would open her up to criticism," Clapton said. One common element in both weddings is Margaery's crown. This image shows how the crown's design incorporates the symbols of House Baratheon (a stag) and House Tyrell (a rose).

Margaery is expected to play a major role in upcoming episodes of “Game of Thrones” Season 5. With her brother Loras under the custody of the Faith Militants, it is up to her to find a way to rescue him.
