Sean Bean continues to stoke the fires surrounding the Jon Snow parents theory, emphatically saying in a Reddit Ask Me Anything on Tuesday that Ned Stark was not Jon's father. Bean may have left “Game of Thrones” without his head, but fans will never forget Ned Stark.

Warning: “Game of Thrones” spoilers ahead.

In an interview with Vulture in July, Bean said, “I'm obviously not Jon Snow's dad.” Jon’s parents have always been a topic for debate. If Ned had an affair with someone during Robert’s Rebellion, there would no need for such secrecy regarding Jon Snow’s mother. Throughout the “Song of Ice and Fire” series, George R.R. Martin has provided some clues about Jon’s parentage, but there have been no definitive answers. The most popular answer, for fans, is the “R+L = J” theory that Jon Snow is the son of Rhaegar Targaeryen and Lyanna Stark.

During Bean's Reddit AMA on Tuesday, plenty of fans wanted to know what it was like working on "Game of Thrones," memorable moments from other roles, as well as a definitive answer to the infamous bar fight where he was stabbed but ordered another drink.

Reddit user AxeApollo asked Bean, "Why did you not teach Jon Snow anything?" to which the actor replied, "HAHAHAHAH! Because he's not mine!" When pressed for more information by karmanaut, "You seem to love hinting about Jon Snow's parentage. What is the most cryptic hint you can give us right now about his parents?" Bean remained silent.

Based on Bean's responses, he was in a good mood and having fun with fans. Whether or not Bean was telling the truth about Jon Snow's parents, only Martin and series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss may know.
