Video technology company Gen2Media Corp. recently launched the publisher version of its Online Video Platform for the company’s network radio partnerships. Gen2 worked with Emmis Communications to launch the software, and rolled out the platform for Emmis’ flagship stations in New York and Chicago.

“Launching our publisher level software for radio marks a groundbreaking achievement for Gen2,” Gen2 CEO Mark Argenti stated in the press release. “We believe that our Online Video Platform continues to set the standard for how video is published and managed, and this new publisher version is the very best of breed for managing content and advertising on a large scale and multi-site basis.”

The new online video software enables one large network partner to manage several publisher sites through one location, including content management and advertising scheduling.

Micheal Morgan, COO/CTO of Gen2, said the platform addresses several challenges associated with radio network operations.

“We are very pleased with the performance of the player across the Emmis properties, along with enhanced user experience and ability to schedule syndicated ad campaigns. Managing advertising across multiple sites; third-party integrations and tracking can be a challenge. Our platform greatly simplifies the process by consolidating scheduling and tracking into one easy process,” Morgan stated.
