Jason’s determination to find answers about his and Drew’s switch may have brought him closer to locating Faison, but on the Wednesday, Jan. 17 episode of “General Hospital,” Sonny’s desire for blood may ruin his chances at getting the answers he has desperately been searching for.

In the previous episode, Jason (Steve Burton) was emailing an account that belonged to Faison’s (Anders Hove) alias, P.K. Sinclair. After discussing his book, which ended with the son killing his father, Jason suggested that he could help with the ending.

By the end of the episode, Sonny (Maurice Bernard) had Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) link his email to the email address they were using to contact P.K., and received a message from the alias suggesting they meet.

Sonny then called Jason to tell him to prepare for the meeting. Jason, who seemed hopeful that this meeting may finally bring him some peace, may be in for a rude awakening however.

January spoilers suggest that Sonny is out for blood and meeting P.K. could be his opportunity to get it. Before P.K. suggested the meeting, Jason told Sonny that he wants to find Faison in order to get answers about why he chose to switch him with Drew (Billy Miller) and give his twin all of his memories.

However, Sonny didn’t see the point in doing that and felt it was just best to kill Faison and not ask any questions. Sonny explained that Faison probably wanted an enforcer that he could control and his reasoning probably wasn’t as sinister as Jason suspects.

Even though Jason insisted he wanted answers, Sonny is not known for having control over his temper. Should the meeting with P.K. Sinclair take a turn for the worse, Sonny could follow through with his desire to kill him.

Sonny also has plenty of people in Port Charles who owe him favors, and asking one to take P.K. out so he won’t have blood on his hands isn’t completely far-fetched.

Will Sonny kill Faison before Jason can learn more about why he was switched with Drew?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
