“Star Wars” creator George Lucas and wife Mellody Hobson welcomed a baby girl, Everest Hobson Lucas, from a surrogate mother on Friday, his representative confirmed to Huffington Post on Monday.

No additional details about the baby, who is Hobson and Lucas’ first biological child, are known. Lucas has three other adopted children -- Jett, 20, Katie, 25, and Amanda, 32.

The new addition to their family comes just two months after Lucas, 69, wed Hobson, 44, who is president of Chicago-based Ariel Investments, on June 22 at his Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, Calif. While Lucas’ son served as best man at the wedding, his daughters were the bridesmaids.

The wedding, a first for Hobson and a second for Lucas, was officiated by journalist Bill Moyers, and the star-studded affair was attended by celebrities including Ron Howard, Francis Ford Coppola and Steven Spielberg.

Lucas was previously married to film editor Marcia Lou Griffin from 1969 to 1983.

“It was a gathering of people who have known George and Mellody for a very long time. It was an extraordinary day filled with so much love," Lynne Hale, a spokesperson for Lucas, told the Marin Independent Journal at the time.

The couple met at a business conference in 2006. "How else would a financial person and a movie person ever be at the same place at the same time?" Hobson joked about their meeting during an appearance on OWN's Oprah's Next Chapter early last year.

Lucas, who sold his production company Lucasfilm Ltd., to Walt Disney Co. (NYSE:DIS), for $4.05 billion in October 2012, is expected to act as a consultant in J.J. Abrams’ upcoming movie, “Star Wars: Episode VII.” The movie is expected to be released in 2015.
