George Zimmerman is back in the news. TMZ is reporting that Zimmerman was spotted in Cocoa, Fla., accompanied by his lawyer Mark O’Mara, visiting Kel-Tec, a firearms manufacturing company.

According to TMZ, Zimmerman and O’Mara were inquiring about the legality of purchasing a Kel-Tec KSG shotgun. The weapon, which costs nearly $1,200, is a bullpup 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. On its official website, Kel-Tec describes the weapon as its “first entry into the shotgun market.”

Kel-Tec is the same company that manufactures the PF-9 handgun, the same weapon used in the killing of Trayvon Martin, TMZ reported.

Zimmerman and O’Mara reportedly toured the grounds of the facility, including the area where firearms are assembled. An employee even snapped a photo with Zimmerman.

It’s not clear if Zimmerman purchased a shotgun while he was at Kel-Tec.

On July 13, Zimmerman was acquitted of the charge of second-degree murder in the killing of Trayvon Martin, which occurred on Feb. 26, 2012, in Sanford, Fla. Zimmerman maintains that he fatally shot Martin in self-defense after being attacked.

This is the third time Zimmerman has been spotted since the verdict. Just four days after being found not guilty, Zimmerman helped rescue a family trapped in an overturned SUV off a highway in Sanford. On July 31, Zimmerman was pulled over for speeding in Texas. The officer who stopped Zimmerman let him go with a warning.
