FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Consumer confidence has improved considerably in April, with their propensity to buy and income expectations somewhat higher than in the previous month, according to data by the GfK institute of economic studies.

The GfK consumer confidence indicator, as a result, has climbed to 5.9 in May from 4.8 in April, with all its three indicators increasing on the month; the economic expectations index has risen 8.3 points to 23.3. Income expectations rose 9 points, and the propensity to buy indicator up by 5.5 points to -4.7.
