FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Orders for manufactured products have declined considerably in Germany against the experts' expectations of a mild increase, as foreign demand plunged in an unexpected extent, according to data released by the German Economics Ministry.

Manufacturing orders have declined 1.8% in April, against the forecasts of a 0.6% increase, as foreign demand decreased 3.8% with demand from Euro Zone countries decreasing strongly on the month, demand from non EU countries fell though not as much. Orders for March have been revised up to a 0.5% decrease from the 0.6% fall previously estimated.

Year on year, manufacturing orders have increased 15.0% in April, following a upwardly revised 4.9% decrease in March, revised up from the 5.0% drop previously reported.
