FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Factory orders have decreased sharply in September in Germany, weighed by a decreased demand on capital goods, although they have posted increases compared to September 2006, according to the German Economics Ministry.

Orders from manufactured products have dropped a seasonally adjusted 2.5% in September, instead of the 0% reading advanced by the analysts. On the year, new orders have increased 1.1%.

Figures for the previous month have been upwardly revised to a 1.9% monthly rise from the 1.2% previous estimation, while the yearly increase was 4.5% increase, instead f the 4% previously estimated.
