German Gfk Confidence Slows in May

With ECB monetary tightening and rising uncertainty over the outlook amid fears over the debt crisis and inflation, confidence is surely taking a negative hit.

German confidence eased in May according to the Gfk Consumer Confidence Survey as the index dropped to 5.7 from 5.9 and was below the expected 5.8.
