FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Industrial production has decreased in October from September due, in great part, to a decline in energy production, while September's data has been revised down, according to the German Economic's Ministry.

In October, industrial production decreased 0.3% in a seasonally adjusted basis, while it increased 6.0% from October 2006. Figures mainly in line with the expert's forecasts.

The ministry has also revised industrial production figures related to the previous month, thus, September's industrial production increased 0.1% and not 10.3% as previously estimated, while it increased 5.8% in the twelve months to September, down from the 6.0% previously released.
