In January, Industrial Production, or IP, in Europe’s largest economy grew by 0.8 percent, according to data from the Federal Statistical Office released Friday.

Data for January was in line with a Wall Street Journal consensus estimate. While the previous month-on-month revised number stood at 0.1 percent, on a year-on-year basis, IP grew by 5 percent in Germany, according to the Journal.
