German Manufacturing Drops Sharply, Services Improve

Germany released the Purchasing Managers' Advanced Index (PMI) for Manufacturing and Services, where the manufacturing sector unexpectedly contracted further in April to 46.3 from the previous of 48.4, missing estimates of 49.0.

On the other hand, the German Services sector improved in April to 52.6 from the previous of 52.1, better than expectations of 52.3.
