FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Producer prices have increased twice as much as expected month on month in November, according to data released by Destatism, the German statistics office.

On the month, PPI has increased 0.8%, instead of the 0.4% forecasted by the experts. On the year, prices at producer level increased 2.5%, while the consensus was 2.1%. November's yearly increase follows annual rate changes of 1.7% and 1.5% in October and September. Excluding energy prices, PPI rose 2.3% from November 2006.
