FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Producer prices have continued declining in Germany in December, which points out to further moderation in consumer inflation, according to data released by the German Statistics Office.

Prices at factory gate have posted a 1.0% decline from November to December, following a 1.5% decline in the previous month, while year on year, prices have risen 4.3%.

December's decline has been driven mainly by energy prices, excluding energy, prices of all other products have posted a 0.6% decline on the month, and a 1.5% year on year increase.
