FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Consumer prices have increased its rate of growth in March from February, more than expected, according to Destatis' preliminary report.

Consumer inflation has risen 0.5% on March, more than 0.3% increase expected. February data was also 0,5% increases.

Year to year, Consumer prices has grown 3.1% in March, up from 2.8% posted in February. The consensus was 2.9%. March's data is placed well above the 2.0% maximum rate established by the ECB's margin for price stability.
