FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Retail sales fell by 3.3% in October, after adjusting for calendar and seasonal variations, while compared to the same period of 2006 it declined by 0.6%, according to the latest report by Destatis.

The decline seen in October follow the monthly rise by 2.3% and the 2.2% decline on yearly basis, posted in September. Experts were anticipating a more slight decline by 0,4% in October ,while compared with October 2006 they expected a 0.1% rise in retail sales.
