FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Retail trade has posted a considerable monthly increase in Germany in May, reversing losses from the previous month, according to data released by the German Statistics Office, Destatis.

Retail sales have increased 1.3% in real terms in may, an increase by 1.7% in nominal terms. Compared to the same month in 2007, sales have increased 0.7% in real terms, 3.5% up in nominal terms.
