FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Retail sales volume has increased in Germany in November for the first time in the last three months, following considerable declines in the two previous months, according to data released by German Statistics.

In November 2008, retail sales turnover, in real terms, has been 3.0% below the level of November 2007, while month on month, retail sales have posted a 0.7% increment. In Nominal terms, sales have decreased 1.8% year on year, and they edged up 0.1% month on month.

German Federal Statistics office has advanced an increase between 1.9% and 2.4% in nominal retail turnover in Germany during the 2008 year, which means a decline between 0% and -0.5% in nominal terms.
