A German government spokeswoman said that there is no firm plan for an emergency summit of EU leaders on Friday, and she added that that the main priority is that the finance ministers agreement to the details of the a second bailout package for Greece.

This came after EU diplomats told Reuters Tuesday that a special summit would be held on Friday because of the worsening concerns that the crisis might be contagious to other countries such as Italy and discussions over how to structure a new Greek rescue deal.
