German trade surplus narrowed in June to 12.7 billion from 14.8 billion, and the expected 14.0 billion. The Current Account surplus widened in June to 11.9 billion euros from the revised previous 6.7billion from 6.9 billion, and above market expectations of 11.0 billion.

Moreover, exports fell by 3.8% in June compared with the previous rise of 4.3%, and below market expectations of -1.0%, while imports rose by 0.3%, compared with the previous rise of 3.7% and also above market expectations of -1.5 %.
