FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The German labour market seems to enjoy good health, as unemployment levels have kept decreasing for the whole 2007 year to a seasonally adjusted level of 8.4% in December, according to the German Employment Office.

Unemployment level decreased to 8.4% in December in seasonally adjusted levels from 8.6% in November, while the unadjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at 8.1%.

The total volume of unemployed population decreased by 78,000 in seasonally adjusted numbers, this decline follows a 57,000 decrease posted in November, and surpasses the experts forecasts of a fall by about 30,000.
