Thursday, Germany's Federal Statistical Office announced that the wholesale trade turnover rose 2.2% year-over-year in March, compared with a 12.5% fall in February, revised from 12.2% decline reported initially. A year ago, the turnover was down 5.9%.

Month-on-month, the wholesale trade turnover grew 1.2% in March, after falling 1.2% in February, revised from 1.1% fall estimated initially.

In nominal terms, wholesale trade turnover dropped 5.1% year-on-year in March, compared to the 17% decline in the previous month, revised from 14.9% fall reported in the previous report. Wholesale trade turnover rose a seasonally and calendar adjusted 0.7% compared to the preceding month.
