Germany released the consumer price index preliminary reading for October, where inflation lingered in the month from the previous expansion and expectations of 0.1%. Over annual basis, the CPI retreated to 2.5% from the prior expansion and expectations of 2.6%.

Moreover, the CPI EU harmonized also lingered in October compared to the previous expansion of 0.2%, better than expectations of 0.1%. In addition, the annual harmonized index retreated to 2.8% from the previous of 2.9% in line with expectations.
