Over the years Gigi Hadid has established her own set of fans through her various modeling projects and numerous fashion spreads. The model has added one more fan to the list, that of her step father David Foster, who recently attended his first fashion show in Paris.
The music producer was a proud step dad during the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week and has even posted a supportive message on Instagram for Gigi, People magazine reported. David took to Instagram on Sunday to share that he attended his first fashion show which featured his stepdaughter and that he was impressed with both the event and the supermodel.
“My first fashion show ever!!! Starting at the top with this one @gigihadid leading the pack!!! It was amazing and so was she!!! #proudstepdad #versace,” David captioned a photo of Gigi leading the line of models on the runway. Gigi also rocked the event when she wore a stylish black two piece suit with strategic cut-outs on the right arm and at the suit’s lower left side. Black heels completed Gigi’s ensemble, along with a stylish ring.
Gigi’s mother “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster was unable to attend the event, but she also took to Instagram to congratulate her daughter for the successful event, according to People magazine. “Gigi on the runway for@versace_official Haute Couture in Paris……. #ProudMommy #WatchingFromAfar #Paris #PFW@donatella_versace,” David’s former wife wrote on the social media site.
Meanwhile, Gigi recently opened up about her struggles dealing with her family’s battle with Lyme disease. The supermodel was emotional during a recent interview when she shared how hard it was for her to see her mother, along with siblings Anwar and Bella Hadid suffer through the disease. She also revealed that one of her biggest challenges was to find a way to serve as a source of strength for them, although she stated that she “doesn’t really understand it.
Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, while Anwar and Bella’s battle with the medical condition was revealed in October 2015.
