Former Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas took to Instagram on Monday to mock the struggles of Indiana Pacers star Roy Hibbert in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Hibbert, who stands 7-foot-2, failed to score a point or grab a single rebound during the Wizards’ 102-96 victory over the Pacers -- a fact that wasn’t lost on Arenas. The 32-year-old, who played for the Wizards from 2003 to 2010 and still earns amnesty money from the franchise, trolled the Pacers center throughout the night, apparently in support of his former team.

Arenas has already deleted some of the posts, but several others are still up on his Instagram account. In the posts, the former NBA star mocks Hibbert’s inability to land on the stat sheet.

Arenas wasn’t the only former NBA personality to troll Hibbert over his on-court struggles. Tracy McGrady, a two-time NBA scoring champion who is currently pursuing a baseball career with the Sugar Land Skeeters, took to Twitter to poke fun at the center. “Me and Roy Hibbert had the same amount of points and rebounds tonight,” he said.

Hibbert’s issues on both offense and defense have persisted throughout the playoffs; through eight playoff games, Hibbert has averaged just 4.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Hibbert has yet to offer a definitive explanation for his struggles.

Multiple Pacers players have publicly called for Hibbert to step up his performance against the Wizards. “We need him now,” Pacers star Paul George told the Indianapolis Star. “I have faith that along the way he’s going to find himself. But we’re at a point where we’re really going to need Roy and we really need him now.”

David West, the Pacers’ starting power forward, echoed George’s comments. “[Hibbert’s] got to be part of the fight,” West told USA Today. “He’s got to be part of this thing for us to go anywhere.”

Game 2 of the Wizards-Pacers series will air on Wednesday, May 7, at 7 p.m. ET.
