“Jane the Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez loves to spread positivity everywhere she goes, and this time, the recipient of her kind words is none other than her co-star, Judy Reyes.

Reyes breathed to life the intellectual Dina Milagro, the writer behind the famous telenovelas of Rogelio De La Vega (Jaime Camil), dad of Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Rodriguez). She appears on the show sparingly, but whenever she does, she creates a huge impact.

On her Instagram, Rodriguez shared some of Reyes’ best quotes during interviews and raved about her hard work in all of her TV shows, such as “Devious Maids” and “Scrubs.”

Dina actually became Rogelio’s love interest a few seasons back, but their love did not last. Rogelio is now married to Jane’s mom Xo (Andrea Navedo), but their marriage is off to a rocky start since he is expecting a daughter with his ex-girlfriend Darci Factor (Justina Mechado).

Camil told Elite Daily that Rogelio will definitely be overwhelmed with his new responsibilities as a dad, so it’s going to open up a lot of hilarious moments in the show. “Season 4 is gonna be a big one for me because, as you saw in the season finale of Season 3, Darci ended up pregnant. So it’s gonna be a fun one for Rogelio. He’s gonna have a kid, a girl, and it’s gonna be messy for him,” he said. “But at the same time any time it gets messy for Rogelio, it gets funny for the audience.”

Meanwhile, show creator Jennie Snyder Urman told Deadline that Rogelio’s new wife, Xo, is going to find it difficult to deal with Darci and their new baby. But the good news is that Rogelio and Xo are determined to make things work for their relationship.

“Well, it’s going to be difficult… for him and for Xiomara and for Darci. They are all part of each others’ lives and there is no love lost at the moment. It’s going to be challenging for all of them,” she said. “Xo and Ro are definitely not going to have the traditional ‘honeymoon period.’ Right away their relationship will be challenged. But they are up for the challenge!”

“Jane the Virgin” Season 4 will return on Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. EDT.
