“Girls” Season 6, episode 7 will finally give Elijah (Andrew Rannells) his much-deserved screen time.

In the previous episode, Elijah was asked by his colleague to help her read through an audition piece. The employee was shocked to see how good Elijah is at acting. In episode 7, titled “The Bounce,” he will try his luck in the entertainment industry by auditioning for a Broadway musical. By the looks of it, his audition will be a huge success.

But Elijah’s new-found passion may make it impossible for him to live up to his promise to Hannah (Lena Dunham). When the latter told the former that she’s pregnant, Elijah discouraged her from keeping the baby. But Hannah said that she will raise it with his help. At first, Elijah was hesitant to help Hannah out, but since she’s his best friend, he finally agreed.

Elsewhere, Hannah will finally make up her mind about telling her baby’s father, Paul (Riz Ahmed), that she’s pregnant. When she reconnects with him, it’s possible that Paul will not be on board with Hannah’s plan to keep their baby. After all, Paul and Hannah just hooked up while the latter learned how to surf. Paul is also in a relationship, and he doesn’t seem like a dependable father.

To make things a bit more complicated, Hannah is confused on whether or not she still has feelings for her ex-boyfriend, Adam (Adam Driver). So if Paul agrees to become more involved in his baby’s life, this could cause a conflict between the three characters.

Meanwhile, Marnie (Allison Williams) is struggling with her personal life. Not only is her marriage a failure; her career as a singer is also not doing very well. Marnie will likewise face money problems in the upcoming episode that she will end up pawning a family heirloom. But doing so will definitely have major consequences.

“Girls” Season 6, episode 7 will air on HBO on March 26 at 10 p.m. EST.
