It was by coincidence that Tuesday's episode of Glee featured one of Whitney Houston's biggest hits, I Will Always Love You.

The Valentine's Day episode, titled Heart, was filmed weeks before the sudden death of Houston over the weekend.

Fox went on with the episode as planned, adding a dedication title card at the end of the episode.

Whitney Houston 1963-2012. We will always love you, the title card read.

The song, performed by Mercedes (Amber Riley), is part of a tearful scene in which she decides to be a single lady instead of choosing between ex-boyfriend Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Shane (LaMarcus Tinker).

The Glee tribute to Houston is the latest to make headlines just days after the singer's tragic death.

On Monday, a video of a water fountain and light show from Dubai went viral and was perceived by many as a tribute to Houston, despite the fact that it was filmed in 2011.

I Will Always Love You was also the song of choice for the synchronized water and light show. The video has received more than 347,000 views on YouTube.

Houston was discovered dead on Saturday at her Beverly Hilton Hotel bathroom, just hours before she was to attend Clive Davis' pre-Grammy Awards party. She was 48.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office confirmed that it could take six to eight weeks to determine the official cause of death. Several prescription drugs were found in her hotel room.

A private funeral for Houston is scheduled to take place on Saturday at the New Hope Baptist Church in New Jersey.
