Today, GLG Life Tech Corp. provided a progress update on its China joint venture AN0C. The company announced that AN0C launched the first national advertising campaign in China yesterday to support the launch of the AN0C brand and its first six products.

The first advertising campaign is on CCTV (China’s only national TV station), airing immediately after the national news for maximum exposure. The commercials communicate the important promises of AN0C products, mainly that they are great tasting, better-for-you and contain zero or low calories. Company marketing executives determined that advertising on CCTV was the best choice to build both the company as well as the product brand and to stimulate initial consumer demand for AN0C products.

In the future, GLG plans to launch additional advertising campaigns in several major provincial satellite TV stations. They will cover south, central and north China markets. Overall, AN0C management sees the goal of the provincial campaigns to increase sales and support additional company and product branding.
