The United States car market should see a modest improvement in 2010, with unit sales possibly reaching between 11.5 million and 12 million vehicles, General Motors Co [GM.UL] Chief Executive Officer Fritz Henderson said on Thursday.

Speaking at a business round table with reporters in Orlando, Florida, Henderson also predicted that China's car market would reach over 11 million units this year. (Reporting by Barbara Liston, editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
