General Motors expects its sales in central and eastern Europe to jump to 505,000 units this year from 350,000 in 2006, GM Europe sales chief Jonathan Browning said on Tuesday.

Browning also told a car industry conference in Prague he saw good potential for Chevrolet across all of Europe, and sales of the brand could reach one million units across the continent in the future from 342,000 in 2006 and 450,000 seen this year.
