Taylor Swift has met her baby godson for the first time. The singer is godmother to actress Jaime King’s son Leo Thames Newman, who was born on July 16. The 25-year-old pop star looked like a natural as she cradled the baby in her arms. Swift took to Instagram and shared the precious moment with her millions of fans.

Taylor posted a picture of her cradling the tiny tot, who is fast asleep in her arms. “Meeting my boy,” the “Bad Blood” singer captioned the photograph. Sometime later she again took to the photo sharing app and posted another shot of the Baby Leo holding one of her fingers.

“Your little hands wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight...” Swift captioned the sweet image, taking line from her “Never Grow Up”. The “Love Story” singer recently treated her fans to a behind-the-scenes sneak peek into her “Bad Blood” music video, Mirror UK reported.

“Hart Of Dixie” star Jaime and her husband Kyle Newman announced that they welcomed their son earlier this month. Swift’s BFF Jaime also took to Instagram to announce the big news with all her fans and followers. She shared that the couple had welcomed their baby boy on July 16. The couple already have a 21-month-old son, James Knight.

Swift’s BFF said she and her husband chose the singer as their son’s godmother because of Swift's values and morals, and the way she treats people.

Taylor also became godmother to the baby due to her and her family’s hard-working nature, and the closeness and bonding she shared with her near and dear ones. Swift is not the only famous godparent of the kids of the couple. Actress Jessica Alba is the godmother to King and Newman's 21-month-old toddler, James.
