FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Gold continues to rally sending the Dollar to fresh multi-month lows. The price of the ounce rose to 1,190, posting a new record high. Greenback is tumbling across the board. EUR/USD rose to fresh 13-month highs at 1.5142 while USD/CHF trades below parity for the first in 18 months. The Yen is approaching to a 14-year high against the Dollar. Stocks at Wall Street are higher with moderate gains.
The Dow Jones is rising 0.28% and the Nasdaq is up 0.33%. Crude oil rebounded sharply at $75.50 and now is testing $78.00. Gold is rising further moving the market against the Dollar. EUR/USD trades above 1.5100 at 1.5135/40 near 13-month highs. At 1.5150 the pair has a resistance zone and above at 1.5180.
GBP/USD is back on top of 1.6700 but is still below daily high at 1.6747 and trades at 1.6719/24, 0.85% above today's opening price. The Pound is still weak and trades at intra-week lows against the Euro and the Swiss Franc.
USD/JPY fell to 87.18, only a few pips above 87.10. If the pair falls further it will be reaching the lowest price in 14 years.
