Gold prices hit record high from debt crisis worries

Gold prices hit a record high of $1,258.25 an ounce in London trading while $1,260.90 in New York, investors are once again seeking a safe-haven as a result of worries that the debt crisis in Europe will curb economic growth. Once again the appeal of the gold climbs which supports prices heavily causes them to hit record highs.
