The 2011 Amgen Tour of California was golden for Chris Horner, the co-leader of Team RadioShack. Horner won the event and also had his teammate, Bay Area resident Levi Leipheimer come in second.

The race had some exciting sprint finished as well as some grueling mountain climbs. The peloton also traveled through some of the most beautiful parts of California.
