Las Vegas - Goldie Hawn stepped out of retirement to make “Snatched” with comedian Amy Schumer and according to the film’s star, she wasn’t held against her will to do it.

Fourteen years after the last role, Hawn plays opposite Schumer in 20th Century’s Fox Mother’s Day weekend comedy. On Thursday, the co-stars appeared at the studio’s CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas to dish about the upcoming feature and share a sneak peek.

“It’s really good. Even if you have triggering mom issues you’ll still enjoy it,” Schumer quipped of the film which shows a mother-daughter trip to South America gone wrong.

Schumer, who has long praised Hawn for joining her on the film, also gushed about the veteran film star onstage. “She’s such an inspiration to me… I’m so proud to know you,” Schumer said to her onscreen counterpart.

After Hawn said equally nice things about the “Trainwreck” star, Schumer quipped, “She did not to do this film against her will.”

“I love that it’s funny and I love that it’s touching,” Hawn also said of the film. “You actually feel something in the end and that’s my favorite movie to go see.”

“Snatched” premieres May 12.
