Search engine giant, Google, has moved into a new 300,000 square foot office in New York that stretches over an entire Manhattan city block.

The Calif.-based company established its advertising sales department in New York in 2000 and an engineering department later in 2003. However, this will the first time the company will have a unified working environment set up there.

Over 500 employees started operations on Monday in the three-floor office which is a few blocks away from busy Union Square. The office starts at Eighth Avenue and stretches to Ninth Avenue. It also extends from 15th Street to 16th Street.
