A Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) Street View car in Indonesia was involved in multiple hit-and-run accidents. In less than an hour, the Google Street View driver hit three different vehicles, fleeing the scene twice before police arrested him.

The Google Street View car first collided with a minivan in the Bogor district of Jakarta, Indonesia. The minivan driver said the Google employee accompanied him to the garage to exchange information but fled the scene out of fear that repairs would be too expensive.

According to BBC news, the repairs would have only cost about $17.50.

Gunaan chased the Google driver for about two miles before the Street View car hit another minivan. The Google driver attempted to flee again but crashed into a parked truck, allowing local police to arrest him.

Police have not released the name of the drivers involved.

“We take incidents like this very seriously,” Google told BBC News. “We’re working closely with local authorities to address the situation.”

The Google Street View allows users to get up-close looks at locations around the globe. Recently, Google even added images from the Galapagos Islands to Street View.

To capture the images, Google employs a variety of vehicles equipped with cameras that can capture 360-degree panoramic shots. The Google Street View vehicle in Indonesia was a modified Subaru hatchback. Google was recently involved in a class-action lawsuit over Street View that claimed Google violated privacy by tapping into unsecured wireless networks for Street View. Google settled the case for $7 million.
