GOP Aide Adam Kuhn Resigns After Ex-Porn Star Jennifer Roubenes Allbaugh Posts Explicit Photo

A scandalous photo and a scorned lover have ended yet another political career.

Adam Kuhn, chief of staff to Rep. Steve Stivers, R-Ohio, resigned Tuesday after his former girlfriend posted an explicit photo of him on Twitter. Jennifer Roubenes Allbaugh, who is an ex-porn star, said she publicly shared the photo of Kuhn’s genitals for “revenge” after their breakup.

Kuhn is a longtime Stivers aide and has worked for the congressman for years. He was named his chief of staff in 2013.

Stivers spokeswoman Courtney Whetstone said the office accepted Kuhn’s resignation on Tuesday but “is not commenting on his personal life.”

In a statement to Politico, Kuhn acknowledged the scandal and apologized.

“Over the weekend, I was the victim of an attack on Twitter from a woman I had a relationship with in my personal life,” Kuhn said. “I realize and apologize I had used poor judgement in my personal life regarding this relationship. The woman who posted this has reached out to me to apologize.”

Politico reported that Allbaugh, who went by the name “Ruby” in adult films, tweeted photos of Kuhn’s genitals to Stivers’ Twitter. The photos have since been deleted, and Allbaugh has deleted her Twitter account.

Allbaugh, who is married, said she was upset that Kuhn ended their relationship, and she was out for “revenge” after the breakup.

“I hate you, AJK, you selfish pompous a—hole,” Allbaugh tweeted. “Now we’re even.”

Allbaugh also sent a direct message to a Politico reporter saying she “just wanted to teach the pompous a——— a lesson” and called herself “a disgruntled former girlfriend.”

“I was trying to make him hate me, I guess,” Allbaugh said later.
