Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) will undergo yet another transformation in “Gotham” Season 4. Fox

It isn’t just Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) who is getting trained in “Gotham,” since Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) will be learning from Ra’s al Ghul as well in Season 4.

Crazy Babs was thought dead after being electrocuted by Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas) during the finale of Season 3, but it’s going to take more than that to kill her off. However, something good came out of that electrocution, since Barbara is going to undergo another transformation on the Fox drama.

“She’s going to be a completely different character again,” Richards told Comic Book of her character. “She’s coming back, she’s going to be trained by Ra’s al Ghul and she’s going to be a lot more calm and centered. Still trying to fight for power in Gotham against Penguin… but with a lot more clarity this time.”

This time around, Barbara won’t have the “crazed energy” that she flaunted in the past. What’s surprising is that she will even be teaming up with Tabitha and Selina Kyle (Carmen Bicondova). “She’s going to form an alliance with Tabitha and Selina,” Richards said. “We’re gonna have a bit of a female power base in Gotham which we’re really excited about.”

Will the three of them finally form the Gotham City Sirens? When Heroic Hollywood asked Bicondova about the trio’s possible formation, she answered that she’s not so sure. However, the actress said the show will probably delve into it in the future. “We haven’t really dived into that yet as of right now. I think that eventually it will happen,” she said.

The actress added that joining the Sirens would be “cool,” although she has no clue how that will go. “I have no idea because some things are shaking up this season, so we never know!” she said.

As for Lucas, she’s all for it. “I love that they started it out in an unexpected way with Barbara and Tabitha because neither one of those characters are part of the [Gotham City] Sirens in the comic books,” she said. “But I think there is room for growth, there is room for new members and I think it would be great to have some sort of girl gang going on next season. So I hope so, but I’m not sure yet!”

“Gotham” Season 4 will premiere on Fox on Sept. 21.
