Graco Children's Products is recalling 1.5 million strollers on Wednesday after reports that seven children have had their fingertips amputated or lacerated.

Graco said that the problem is related the hinges on the stroller's canopy and that injuries occur when people try to open or close the canopy.

Consumers are urged to stop using the strollers of the passage, alano and spree models and to contact the company to receive a free protective cover.

Consumers can call 1-800-345-4109 or visit Graco's website for more information.
