The roaring 20's will come to life in the upcoming film, "The Great Gatsby," scheduled for release May 10, 2013. Based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel of the same name, the movie follows the life of the elusive millionaire, Jay Gatsby, as told by narrator, Nick Carraway, as he attempts to reconnect with his long lost love, Daisy Buchanan.

Warner Bros. has released new teasers of the film, a series of promo posters featuring the movie's all-star cast, as well as its second trailer, detailing vivid images right from the pages of the book.

In the first moments of the trailer, Gatsby and Carraway are seen driving in Gatsby's infamous car as he divulges to Carraway little known details about his life.

The posters show Leonardo DiCaprio as a stoic Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire as an inquisitive Nick Carraway, Elizabeth Debicki as a lofty Jordan Baker, Carey Mulligan as a dainty Daisy Buchanan, Isla Fisher as a gregarious Myrtle Wilson, and Joel Edgerton as a brooding Tom Buchanan.

The Baz Luhrmann film  was original scheduled to release on Christmas Day, but was pushed to a summer release as to not conflict with all the other major movie releases occurring late in the year, including"Les Miserables," "The Life of Pi," "The Hobbit," and "Zero Dark Thirty."

Warner Bros. released a statement about the change in August.

“Based on what we’ve seen, Baz Luhrmann’s incredible work is all we anticipated and so much more," said Dan Feldman, Warner Bros. president of domestic distribution.

"We think moviegoers of all ages are going to embrace it, and it makes sense to ensure this unique film reaches the largest audience possible.”
