Monday, the latest report from the General Secretariat of the National Statistical Service of Greece showed that industrial turnover dropped 25.6% annually in February, in contrast to a 19.4% rise in January.

Mining and quarrying output dropped 30.9% in February compared to a 12.5% increase, while manufacturing output slipped 25.6% compared to a 19.5% growth.

In a separate report, the statistical office the new orders in industry dropped 35.5% year-on-year in February, much sharper than a 1.7% fall in the previous month.
