Monday, the General Secretariat of the National Statistical Service of Greece announced that the industrial production dropped 5.3% year-over-year in March, after falling 4.6% in February. A year ago, the production was down 4.6%.

In March, manufacturing production declined 11.2% annually, while mining and quarrying production rose 10.6%. Electricity production was up 14.6%.

For the January to March period, industrial production decreased 7% compared to the same period of the previous year.
